Moscato d'Asti, Gianni Voerzio, Piedmont

This is the wine I seek out at the end of a tasting of heavy, tannic reds. Refreshing and slightly sweet, it really picks you up. Voerzio is top of the pile here, and this avoids the frivolous nature of some Moscato with structure and vine leaf notes.
