2001 is an under-rated vintage but it is drinking superbly now. The gravel outcrop on which Tour de By stands brings a real depth and refinement to the wines produced there. This vintage is classically styled with attractive aromas of spice and cassis. On the palate black fruit flavours burst through the well integrated oak.
